Since the onset of COVID-19, Here We Grow Portraits has taken steps to ensure the safety and health of children and staff in the schools and centres we serve, as well as that of our own photographers and staff.

We are happy to observe all COVID-19 protocols already established in your school/centre and will happily complete screenings on arrival or ahead of time if asked. Additionally, here's what we are doing to protect against the transmission of COVID-19:

• We are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

• We wear N95, E-Can95 or KN95 masks while working in schools and centres, indoors or outdoors. This will continue at least through Spring of 2024.

• We take measures to maintain physical distance from school/centre staff and children, and ask that school/centre staff do the same for us. When necessary and possible, we will physically demarcate our working area from the areas where staff and children can circulate. We ask staff not to stand behind us to help in engaging the child unless specifically asked to.

• We ask that staff avoid physical contact with our camera and lighting gear, and assist in helping children to do the same.

• We no longer wipe children’s faces or adjust their hair or clothes - instead we ask school staff to assist with this.

• We no longer offer props or toys to the children who need assistance during photography - instead we ask school staff to assist when necessary.
